Fixing Washington’s Financial Problems
Voting Utah Values
Elect Josh Randall
Faith, Family, Fiscal Discipline
Dear Utahns,
Washington DC needs an infusion of faith, family values, and fiscal discipline. We need to balance our budget and secure our border.
Balancing a budget is complex and the solutions are not always popular. To make it happen the federal government must return to its core functions as explicitly laid out in the Constitution. We need large, sweeping changes to the culture of DC. I will work with right-minded Congressmen to re-allocate 1 to 1.5 million federal employees to the private sector, eliminate unconstitutional agencies and programs, and privatize or send the remainder of them back to the states.
If our senators and congressmen continue compromising on debt ceiling suspensions, continued resolutions and appropriations that exceed our revenues, the citizens of our country will lose faith in those who are holding the purse. Faith is perhaps the greatest need we have in this country. Faith in God, faith in our country, and faith that we can foster greater unity and progress for the generations to come.
I will help restore that faith. I will not forsake our country’s faith in God, compromise our family values, or set aside our Constitution. I know how to tackle the complex issues we’re confronted with, and perhaps more importantly, I will work non-stop to persuade 99 other Senators to join me in doing it.
Utah can make the difference if we have two strong senators that know what makes our state and country great. Our senators must know how to articulate Utah’s Republican platform in persuasive ways, overcoming false narratives, and restoring faith in the free market democratic system of government that has produced the most innovative and successful nation in the history of the world. God bless America.
Faith, family, fiscal discipline
The establishment way to become a senator is to build political circles and spend hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars to try to get elected. We don’t persuade the senate to stop spending by doing what the establishment does.
It’s not that I can’t spend lots of money. It’s that I won’t. Isn’t it refreshing to have someone who WON’T spend!
DC needs a cultural shift. You see that cultural shift in how we have run. Exorbitant spending doesn’t positively change culture or people in lasting ways. It simply attempts to buy todays votes with tomorrow’s inflation. And I won’t do it.
Volunteerism, transparency and example will persuade. And we have to persuade senators in order to make the changes our country needs. If you elect someone who doesn’t spend, you will find that this is the senator who can convince other senators to stop spending. This is the senator who will be able to guide conversation on the senate floor to make needed changes to the federal reserve, privatize social security and Medicare and help send Medicaid and food stamps back to the states.
This is what I do, personally and professionally. I comb through legal language and audit the financial commitments. It’s not glorious. And most people don’t want to do it, or they don’t know how or they don’t believe it’s possible. But major change is possible, if we elect people who refuse to follow the establishment.
Do you want a senator who spends his time fundraising and spending, or do you want one who spends night and day to work with 535 senators and congressmen to fix our federal budget and listens and works with you, the great people of Utah. I love our state.
You need not be worried about my experience. I’ll be all over that budget. Energy, healthcare, immigration and Foreign conflicts are all tied to that budget. This is our work as holders of the purse, to balance the budget. Send a CPA and audit manager to the senate floor to do it.
I will bring consummate professionals; medical, nuclear, military to my team. We will cover the bases and we will be up to speed immediately. We will waste no time, we will go right after the big issues. But the budget expert will be the one on the senate floor.
This country has no greater need than an infusion of faith and strong families. If we don’t fix government spending and unbridled spending in our families, you will see more and more people losing faith in the Senate, in God, in our constitution and in the free market/law of the harvest economy that has innovated more than any nation in earth’s history.
We’re not jeopardizing our country’s economy or security when we don’t support DEFICIT spending to fund NATO or the United Nations.
You’re not racist if you believe we must secure our border, that immigration should be legal and follow our laws.
You’re not a bigot if you don’t support redefining marriage.
You’re not anti-choice if you don’t support laws to legalize elective abortions.
And if you want to vote for laws based solely on your religious beliefs, just because you’re a catholic or a Methodist or Latter Day Saint, DO IT. Don’t ever shelf your faith in the public sphere. We need miracles, and faith precedes miracles. And know as a senator that I will stand with you. Your voice, including your religious voice, is needed and valuable to our public policies and laws. Your religious values provide a backbone to increasing the scientific and technological advancements of our country. Great religion also helps cultivate great science.
I will stand with you.
This job is public service to you, my fellow Utahns. I pledge to you that I will give it all I have.
We will reach 900,000 Republicans in this state, with your support.
Thank you for being delegates and for sacrificing your time to send the best Senator possible to help our state and country.
I’m Josh Randall, faith, family, fiscal discipline.
