Weber County Republican Women meet the candidates

We are looking forward to a great discussion. 

We will meet at the Weber County Sheriff Training Center located at 1400 Depot Drive from 12-1:30pm. This building is west of the main Sheriff complex. After turning off 12th street, take a right at the first stop sign (west), follow the road to the separate training facility. If you run into issue, feel free to call or text me 801-721-3588. 

The training facility will be open at 11:30 and you are welcome to come early to set up and mingle. The meeting will begin at noon, and we’ve allocated time until 1:30 for Q&A. Each candidate will have 2 minutes for an introduction, and then our moderator will randomly select questions for the candidates. We have firm commitments from 9 of the 11 candidates, and while not every candidate will answer every question, the goal is to make sure each candidate has an equal amount of time to answer a variety of questions on the most pressing issues. Answers will be times and candidates will be given 1 min to answer. Each candidate will then have 1 minute wrap-up. We will have timekeepers to help everyone stay within the allotted time. The sheriff has said that we are welcome to stay after the meeting, and there are always members who want to follow up afterwards so you’re welcome to stay if your schedule permits.
